What you’ll do:

  • Supervise employees for concerned operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accountable to meet the production schedule by directing, coaching, supporting and delegating technicians on a day-to-day basis.
  • Effectively communicate goals and required operational results to employees through daily/week meetings.
  • Consistently demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Responsible for the overall management of the schedule, including work order assignments, training and coverage for employees on vacation or otherwise absent.
  • Meet and address safety requirements for all facility personnel, train/enforce safety standards with the direction of the Manufacturing Manager. Other duties include completing investigations for incidents and closing out actions.
  • Create an environment which encourages, supports, and recognizes new ideas and initiatives.
  • Assist in the decision-making process for new hires.
  • Develop and conduct annual performance reviews of direct reports.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, such as implementing new processes, equipment, etc.
  • Support other departments as needed (potential travel to assist the service group may be required).

  • You have a Mechanical Aptitude and enjoy understanding how complex systems operate
  • You understand Process Flows
  • You have worked within and made data-based decisions using ERP and other systems
  • You have a drive to meet both internal and customer goals
  • You have a drive to improve processes and remove escape points
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment and are capable of delivering extra when required
  • You understand that growth is required of yourself as well as your team
