Job description: We are hiring a Manufacturing Worker for a pharmaceutical company in Abbotsford, BC. Note that previous experience is preferred, but all training will be done on the job. Location: Abbotsford, BC

Start date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, and afternoon/night shifts available following the training period

Pay: Starting at $17.00 – $18.90 depending on experience. With $1.00 premium/hour for afternoon shifts, and $2.00 premium/hour for graveyard shifts.

Requirements:

• You will need to have steel toe boots, and a mask on at all times
• You will need to be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn, as any training of any of the below responsibilities is done on the job

Job Duties:

• Overseeing and operating machinery to process and package products
• Observing gauges, printouts and monitors to verify specified processing conditions
• Making adjustments to process variables as needed
• Maintaining shift log of production and other data
• Recording process data in the batch logs
• Inspect finished product, checking for defects, ensuring standards
• Complying with all safety policies, practices and procedures
• Cleaning as required around facilities
• Load boxes to pallets for shipping
