Job description: Based in Stratford, Ontario, the Stratford Festival is one of the world’s foremost repertory theatre companies. It operates year round, presenting a season of about a dozen plays each year between the months of April and November, a rich stream of digital content and hundreds of Forum events, designed to deepen understanding of the plays. For every person a theatregoer sees on our stages, we have seven people working behind the scenes, some of the world’s most dedicated and experienced arts workers. Marketing Administrator The Marketing Administrator will support the Senior Director of Marketing and Audience Development, Marketing Director and wider Marketing team in the day-to-day administration required to deliver the Festival’s marketing strategy. The position will acts as important conduit of information between the Marketing team and other departments across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Director of Marketing and Audience Development, including but not limited to, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements and providing updates on department activity.
  • Represent the marketing department at meetings including taking notes and minutes and circulating as required.
  • Ensure tactical marketing plans are kept up to date and distribute to key internal stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain marketing checklists, timelines and tracking documents.
  • Facilitate approval processes, including edits and proofreading and ensure material is dispatched to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise as required with suppliers such as design agencies, distribution companies, printers, photographers, videographers and digital agencies.
  • Support the smooth running of the marketing department, including by ensuring office stationary, IT, furniture and equipment needs are met

Requirements: Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in administrative support functions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders

Preference will be given to candidates with cultural sector or general office administration experience.

Additional Info: This full time position is located in Stratford, Ontario and will begin January 10, 2022.

Annual Salary: $34,615-43,269
