Job title: Marketing & Construction Project Coordinator

Job description: The Marketing & Project Coordinator will be working with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent to provide support throughout the residential construction process and assist with implementing into the day to day construction and marketing processes.

Prepare, log and co-ordinate all construction related documentation as required including Purchase Orders, Change Orders, RFI’s, Site Instructions, submittals, meeting minutes, closeout documents, etc. * Track and log daily, weekly, monthly files and applicable project construction documentation * Log, co-ordinate and assist with the review of shop drawings * Liaise with applicable trades for site instructions or extras that arise throughout the construction process, including follow up with trades for quotes, proper saving of all documentation and issuing Purchase Orders when required * Schedule, attend trade meetings and consultant meetings, and assist in the update and distribution of meeting minutes * Other duties and responsibilities; as requiredMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. Degree in Construction management, Engineering, Interior Design or equivalent * 2+ years local Canadian experience in low rise residential construction as a Project or Site Coordinator * Detailed, organized and punctual * Ability to work with Project Manager, Site Superintendent, consultants, trades, inspectors and regulatory agencies * Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and follow up * Strong familiarity with construction documentation including the ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications * A strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel and proficient with MS Office (Word, Project, etc.)
