Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for a broad range of marketing responsibilities in Canada across multiple segments: Wealth Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Governance and Communications. You will be responsible for planning, product marketing, budget management, campaign marketing, digital and social media, sales enablement, and marketing communications. The Marketing Manager will demonstrate excellent project management skills as well as a mix of marketing skills, knowledge about the financial services industry, and the ability to prioritize work very efficiently in a fast-paced, highly matrixed work environment.
The Marketing Manager is also responsible for creating thought leadership initiatives, overseeing customer research projects, digital marketing, and lead generation–across multiple channels. This role works closely with, and in support of, the Vice President of Marketing, as well as with other marketers globally, working with sales partners to develop and execute marketing plans, content, and campaigns and to deliver measurable results and return on investment.
The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the management of multiple in-person and virtual events including a large Canadian client event.
Key Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Supports development of the Canadian marketing strategy, including planning and executing campaigns that deploy an appropriate mix of marketing tactics and channels to deliver consistent and impactful marketing that meets sales/business objectives (Brand, Events, Digital, PR, Corporate Communications).
- Develops compelling, differentiating value propositions, positioning, and messaging at the product and segment level for Broadridge products and solutions.
- Aligns with the global marketing plans in conjunction with the global marketing teams.
- Creates impactful, on-brand marketing communications -including sales communications, emails, newsletters, social media posts, webinars, and other thought leadership content.
- Supports lead generation campaigns in conjunction with the prospecting team to develop new sales pipeline opportunities.
- Monitors competitor marketing activity and relevant customer trends.
- Tracks and reports on the impact of marketing activities to maximize ROI.
Qualifications
Education:
- Post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on marketing.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the finance or technology industry.
- An understanding of financial services trends and technology.
- Experience in copywriting, proven digital delivery, agency relations, collateral creation, stakeholder management, webinars/events.

- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple business and sales stakeholders.
- Adept at using marketing technology platforms with a strong digital bias
Tools:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
