Job title: Marketing Partnership Development Officer
Job description: The purpose of the Marketing Partnership Development Officer will be to implement marketing strategies and initiatives to access a wider base of clients and to promote incentives surrounding Cinefest Sudbury’s new partner/patron membership program.
The specific key duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Partnership Development Officer will be to:
- Assist in the development, introduction, and implementation of a subscriber-based Cinefest Sudbury membership incentive program;
- Strengthen relationships with and work with sponsors in order to develop incentive program recruitment strategies and promotional opportunities;
- Tailor-fit sponsor promotional and outreach priorities to sponsor benefits packages and patron membership programs;
- Identify potential incentive program members and lead recruitment (that connect incentives both business to person and business to business);
- Assist in the development and implementation of year-round sponsor/member engagement strategies;
- Create and distribute marketing and communications materials for members (email marketing, mailings, newsletters);
- Assess first-year implementation of Cinefest’s membership incentive program and recommend areas for expansion and improvement.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited post-secondary college or university with a degree or diploma in business administration, communications, marketing, English, public relations, arts administration, and/or similar accredited programs. Previous experience in corporate development, proposal writing, communications, and/or event planning will be considered an asset (but is not required). Oral and written skills in French will also be considered an asset;
- Are new entrants into the workforce, are transitioning to a new career, or are unemployed / underemployed who are entering a new field;
- Have not previously participated in a NOHFC-funded internship;
- Are at least 18 years of age;
- Reside, and are legally entitled to work in Canada.
