Job title: Media Sales Executive
Job description: Our client is one of the largest media brands, a leader in daily newspapers across Canada, and currently has an immediate opening for a Media Sales Executive. As a member of the Sales team, the successful candidate will contribute to successfully growing the business, maximizing revenue streams with potential clients and providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong focus on audience based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Full sales cycle, selling a vast suite of digital media/advertising solutions
- Selling into a SMB and Mid-market business audience in a client-facing capacity
- Focusing on new business development and creating quality new relationships through cold-calling, marketing, social networking, and unique lead generation techniques
- Apply a consultative audience solution selling approach accompanied by the delivery of proactive advertising proposals to key decision-makers
Qualifications:
- 1+ year B2B territory sales experience
- Experience cold calling and conducting in person presentations
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Sales or another related discipline
- Experience in Media/Advertising or Marketing sales is an asset
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding set targets
