As our North America SEC Logistics Process Manager – Trade & Customs, you will report to the North America SEC Logistics Director and will engage directly in program requirements, and design activities. You will lead, facilitate and provide expertise in the development and deployment of the future strategic Enterprise capabilities vital to execute Nike’s Global supply chain vision in our Global Operations and Logistics.Essential job functions: • Identify and define the critical capabilities needed within the scope of SEC to support Nike’s Consumer Direct Acceleration as it pertains to activation in North America • Provide detailed business inputs in the requirements and design process in order to meet strategic objectives within the scope of Logistics – Trade & Customs • Craft future state business processes that use industry methods, standard technology processes and satisfy Nike’s operational goals • Assess the impact of these capabilities on Nike’s Trade and Customs function globally and locally • Partner with the Global and in-Geography Trade and Customs Teams to ensure these capabilities are defined, implemented, and deployed as part of the Strategic Enterprise Capabilities Program • Demonstrate subject matter expertise to facilitate insights and standard methodologies globally in key capabilities such as: • Trade Classification • Import/ Export Compliance • Customs Valuation • Special Trade Programs • Performance Management • Data, Reporting, and Analytics • Ensure collaboration to coordinate plans and drive business results, process excellence, and capability development • Facilitate and participate in SEC workshops for solution design and requirements definition • Manage and execute SEC capability work as required including process mapping and design • Collaborate across the matrix to craft Nike’s future requirements and to determine the system, process, and operating model shifts required to operationalize • Develop and drive validation of required documentation, such as BPD (Business Process Design), Backlog, Aris Flow, etc. • Support development and execution of business transition management activities such as change assessment, training, etc.Competencies: • Leadership Identity to lead and influence others. • Innovation Attitude & Strategic Enterprise Thinking. • Proven ability to navigate sophisticated organizational structures. • Experience in aligning cross-cultural, cross-functional, and virtual teams. • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to build trust among those with diverse personal styles. • Highly organized; able to influence others to adapt, evolve and adhere to newly developed frameworks and structures • Solid presenter and group facilitator. • Exceptional listening skills, excellent written skills, and high profile communication/storytelling skills. • High tolerance for ambiguity, self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments • Project and Program Management acumen • Comfort with principles and issues related to Information Technology systems, development, and design. • Bachelors or advanced degree in supply chain field or related experience. • Minimum 5 years total experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, Program Management, Management Consulting, Strategy, or a related field • Expertise in North America (US/Canada) Trade and Customs Management. Customs Brokers License preferred • Additional experience working with 3PL partners, Customs Brokers, and Service providers • Demonstrated success in cross-functional, global project/program execution. • Role will be based in WHQ (Beaverton) with travel up to 15% of the year NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
