Nasittuq is currently bidding on the contract for the Operation & Maintenance of the North Warning System (NWS). The NWS is a joint Canada and United States early-warning radar system with 47 sites located in Northern Canada; a Control Centre and Support Centre located in North Bay, ON and a Contract Management Office located in Ottawa, ON.
This job posting is being advertised in advance of award of a contract. Employment is contingent upon Nasittuq being awarded the contract.

Responsibilities:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Logistics requirements. The Logistics Manager leads the Logistics team, liaises with departments regarding their planned operations and logistics requirements and develops logistics policies and procedures to ensure uninterrupted services to NWS sites.
- Prepare, implement, and administer an NWS Logistics Management Plan
- Coordinate all NWS resupply requirements including Repair and Overhaul (R&O) for both Canadian and United States Air Force (USAF) equipment
- Bulk fuel resupply and inventory management
- Coordinate airlift, sealift, and ground transportation
Qualifications:
- Professional Logistician or eligible for designation as a Logistics Professional
- Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in logistics management
- Experience working with a work management system considered an asset
- Adaptability and ability to manage priorities with attention to detail and work cross-culturally
- Computer literate in MS applications, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates must be Canadian citizens, be eligible and maintain Level (II) SECRET security clearance.
