Tractor Qualifications:

• No day cab tractors allowed.
• Non trucking liability, Physical, and Occupational insurance required.
• Tractors must be compatible with our 9-pin electronic logging devices.
• Federal DOT inspection required within 30 days prior to show. The cost associated with this inspection is the responsibility of the contractor.

Pay Breakdown:

• 100% pass-through of shipper’s fuel surcharge (JBH is one of the only carriers who passes 100% on to the drivers)
• Fuel Discounts from .30-.80 cents per gallon.
• Tire discounts on Goodyear Tires up to 35%.
• Express payment on all successfully delivered loads. No Bill of Lading required.
• No out of pocket expenses for scales by using the weigh my truck app. JBH is direct billed.
• Ability to plan loads directly to your truck using the JBH drive app. (You can pre plan up to 3 loads)
• Access to Medical and Truck insurance through a third party vendor TrueNorth. (877-968-8785)
• 65% Linehaul Rate on all loaded miles for network freight.
• Position is non force dispatch, and drivers will have load board visibility to pick and choose their freight
• Average Yearly Gross: 5-7 days OTR prior to a reset ($145,000-$150,000)
• Average Yearly Gross: 10-14 days OTR prior to a reset ($150,000-$165,000)
• Average Yearly Gross: 14+ days OTR prior to a reset ($190,000+)
• Top 10% Earners – ($375,000)
• Contractor of the Month will recieve a $500 Bonus on their settlement each month, and Contractor of the Year witll recieve a $2,500 bonus!

*Drivers will need to bring the following to Orientation – Title (front and back) or Title application receipt dated no older than 60days of show date – Bill of Sale – Current 2290 – ACTIVE EIN. Any question please reach out to your manager.

Monday and Wednesday start ONLY

Deductions:

• $40 deducted per week for plates and permits
• $26 deducted per year for an administration fee to file IFTA, settlements, etc.
• $100 deducted per week for tolls – (Optional) – Contractor may choose to pay tolls, or pay J.B. Hunt a flat rate of $100 per week for all tolls)
• $20 deducted weekly for Peoplenet Tablet unit – (installed by J.B. Hunt at orientation)
• $100 deducted per week up to $3,000 for escrow account for Onboard Computer/PeopleNet, IFTA Etc. – payments will cease after escrow is paid in full (refundable provide it is returned and not in arrears!)
• $22.20 deducted for American Trucking Business Service – (Optional)
• Fuel deducted based on fuel purchased the previous week
