This person must have good analytical, quantitative, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. This person will perform a variety of complex tasks (such as analyzing data, preparing advanced power point presentations) for use by others. This position requires advanced administrative knowledge and capabilities and may include analyzing incoming requests, e-mails, phone calls and handling routine and non-routine matters independently and or under minimal supervision. The role requires the ability to multitask and work well with other department members to deliver results within the established timelines and the ability to anticipate next steps.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and follow up on projects assuring all required data, forms, presentation, etc., are clear, complete and concise.
  • Interaction involves regular communication requiring interpretation, persuasion and discretionary skills. Requires daily contact with all levels of management, often dealing with confidential information.
  • Schedules meetings for the team members and helps facilitates decisions affecting the team schedule/priorities. Create and agree critical path timelines, identifying key milestones. Manage task interdependencies and create contingency plans, to hit overall Project goal.
  • Prepares confidential spreadsheets, PowerPoint and/or documents.
  • Interaction with external partners and KPI reporting .
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, reporting and presentation development to facilitate capital expenditure, business propositions, productivity/ simplification initiatives…etc.
  • Support a business development team dedicated to managing business initiatives as productivity and products commercialization, working with Plants, Marketing, Research and Development, Sales and Logistics.
  • Completes non-routine, complex projects, assignments.
  • Prioritizes, organizes and delegates workloads/assignments independently
  • Serves as a point of contact for project team programs and projects.
  • Independently identifies and initiates process improvement areas across team.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Business or Engineering degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Administrative experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to interact with all levels within and outside of the company
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with rapid change and a certain level of ambiguity
  • Ability to work independently
