Job title: Property Management

Job description: The Condominium Manager interacts on a daily basis with the co-owners, maintenance staff and suppliers of the buildings under management. His time is divided between his office at the buildings under management (on site) and our head office in the Old Port. He performs administrative activities in condominium management. The Consultant is supported in his work by the entire team, including the accounting and technical maintenance departments. The Manager is challenged and constantly learning. The schedule may vary depending on the seasonality of the buildings (depending on meetings and assemblies). The Manager is required to respond to emergency calls outside of office hours when required.

Responsibilities
Respond to administrative telephone and email inquiries from co-owners, staff and suppliers on a daily basis

Manage communications and signage to keep residents informed of various initiatives or projects taking place in the buildings;

Provide in-person support (on site) and necessary follow-ups with the various stakeholders;

Coordinate the execution of building maintenance and conservation projects. Plan and control suppliers and material needs;

Verify work and invoices according to budgets and client decisions;
File documents according to established structure;
Prepare and present files;

Plan and coordinate quarterly board meetings and annual general meetings of co-owners. Take minutes;
Manage priorities and emergencies;

Be proactive and alert to items that may put clients or the business at risk, correcting them as soon as possible, if not informing immediate supervisors;
Any other related task in support

Qualifications
MAIN QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bilingualism essential (French and English). Excellent written communication skills in both languages;

Several years of experience in the property management sector;

College studies in condominiums, or university level in management, an asset;

Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and cloud-based tools.

Dec or knowledge in accounting (An asset)

Ability to present oneself professionally with composure and confidence;

Demonstrate thoroughness, efficiency and attention to detail in their work. Be well organized. Act in a methodical, structured and attentive manner;

Be versatile and able to adapt quickly (people, contexts, environments). Have an interest in several fields of activity (customer service, negotiation with suppliers, basic accounting, personnel management, information technology, construction, legal aspects, etc.);

Have a sense of initiative and responsibility. Demonstrate autonomy, judgment and resourcefulness. Willingness to constantly improve and learn;

Demonstrate an obvious drive (intrinsic motivation). Have a positive and contagious attitude.
