Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Recruiter, Manufacturing, you will lead the Talent Acquisition process for our state-of-the-art garment manufacturing and distribution facility in New Westminster BC in partnership with our team located at HQ.

You will be responsible for building a healthy talent pipeline and selecting talent through key community partnerships and strategic attraction initiatives.

This niche facility is the heart and hands of our brand and the connection to our design floor. Through trusted partnerships with these teams, you will gain a deep comprehension of what this facility means to the Arc’teryx business as you support its growth,

Meet Your Future Team:

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will work closely with a team of energetic global recruiters who are focused on attracting and selecting the very best candidates for our corporate, manufacturing and retail teams while ensuring an incredible candidate experience every step of the way.

The TA team is supported by the Candidate Experience and Employer Brand Manager for our ATS (Lever), reporting and online/offline recruiting strategies.

If you were the Recruiter now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Leading full cycle recruitment for all areas of Arc’One, which is focused on a high volume of manufacturing and distribution roles.
  • Sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidate skills, experience, and competencies to make hiring recommendations to the business.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to train and build interview scorecards to ensure clear and unbiased expectations during the interview process.
  • Partnering with our Candidate Experience and Employer Brand Manager to develop unique, data driven recruitment strategies to meet your needs.
  • Partnering closely with the P&C Business Partners to understand the complete picture of the department headcount and strategic business needs.
  • Advocating for transparency and fostering open feedback for our candidates throughout the process to optimize the candidate experience.
  • Managing your external and internal postings, reviewing applications, interviewing and maintaining candidate records via our applicant tracking system (Lever).
  • Coordinating with the different People & Culture teams to ensure new employees are hired and onboarded seamlessly.
  • Supporting the People & Culture team with other projects and hiring commitments as required.

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Assisting the Talent Acquisition Managers in developing and executing long-term strategies for your designated business areas.
  • Addressing key talent gaps, shortages, or concerns through partnerships with our teams and P&C Business Partners.
  • Building pipeline by actively engaging with the local and global community associations to enable the success of our teams.
  • Helping to identify roadblocks in our processes while seeking ways to improve workflows to maximize efficiencies and our time to hire.
  • Actively participating in identifying and supporting TA project and initiatives.
  • Representing your area of the business in creating employer branding initiatives.

Are you our next Recruiter?

  • You have 5+ years of recruitment experience in a trade, high volume and/or hourly worker environment.
  • You have built customized recruitment strategies and can work autonomously.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with a positive and approachable personality, and a desire and ability to build strong relationships with a customer-service focused mentality.
  • You are not afraid to fail and use every opportunity to learn and share.
  • You are a firm supporter of diversity in the workplace and lead by example.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language and strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
  • You have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • You have the ability to sensitively deal with confidential information.
  • You are a team player with an ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment.
