Position Summary
Exciting opportunity available for nurses passionate and experienced in Mental Health and Substance Use! If you have two years related experience in Mental Health and Substance Use environment and would like to be a part of a supportive team environment while working autonomously, this is the position for you!

The Rural & Remote Adult MHSU Nurse works as an integral part of an integrated mental health and substance use service. The Nurse provides services such as treatment, support and recovery, crisis/acute in-reach, episodic overdose prevention services and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic mental illness and/or problem substance use.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary. The casual nurse must be available for short call.

Shift types are days; 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 10:00 to 18:00

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved school of nursing.

Two (2) years’ recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Current valid B.C. driver’s license.
