Profile: Our client distributes sells service contracts to HVAC clients in addition to their equipment sales. I am looking for a Sales and marketing manager who will mage a team of reps and a marketing coordinator. The person we seek, has a technical background, has sold industrial services and has managed a b2b sales team.

Territory: Montreal and Quebec city

Workplace: Montreal, work from office when not on the road

Products/Services: HVAC services and products

Salary: Base $100,000-$120,000

Commissions/Bonus: $100,000 paid quarterly

Car allowance: $/km

Expense’s reimbursement: All relevant expenses reimbursed

Job Function:

• Guide sales team through the sale of technical solutions
• Spend time in front of clients with each team member
• Set and monitor key KPIs to ensure success
• Work with reps to set up territory management plans for each of their clients
• Conduct regular sales meetings
• Conduct regular 1 on 1’s
• Study territory plans and make suggestions for improvement
• Contribute to sales structure
• Work hand in hand with the General Manager with respect to sales plans/results
• Work on marketing initiatives to drive business

Job Requirement:

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 30% vs 70%

Languages: French and English-bilingualism required

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred

Training: On the job training

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight required

Years of experience: At least 5 years of sales management experience required in a technical field

Other requirements: You are strong at building, nurturing and coaching salespeople

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge:

• Knowledge and experience selling recurring revenue services
• Strong technical knowledge required in HVAC or similar field
