Our state-of-the-art bakery on Secretariat Court creates many of the most beloved artisan breads under the ACE Bakery brand – our classic European-style baguette, as well as ciabattas, foccacias, premium hamburger buns, and more.

We take immense pride in our craft, and are currently hiring sanitation workers for morning, afternoon & night shifts to be a part of our dynamic team.

Job Duties:

• Comply with all applicable legislative and ACE Bakery food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment (scrapers, brushes, pads, vacuums, scrub machine, compressed air) to clean floors, ceilings, walls of the bakery (change rooms, warehouse, freezer, refrigerators, packing and production).
• Disassemble and clean all equipment (i.e. ovens, mixing bowls, proofers, refrigeration coils, fans, etc.) and reassemble.
• Replenish supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, hairnets, coffee, etc.)
• Collect and dispose of garbage and recyclable materials.
• Clean and maintain outside bakery including snow removal.
• Clean lunchroom fridge and microwave.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

#IND1 Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience as a cleaner in an industrial environment is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg.
• WHMIS trained is an asset
• Ability to work a flexible 8 hour shift, Sunday to Saturday.
