Sunbelt Rentals–the fastest growing rental business in North America–is seeking a Scaffold Supervisor.

A scaffold supervisor leads scaffolding activities pertaining to all project and assist the sales department during job walks, estimating, and safety plans, etc. Our supervisor displays a positive attitude and promote compliance towards Safety, Quality, Policy and Procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpreted blueprints and scaffold drawings, instructions, and other documentation or plan work activities.
  • Helps and assist in the determination of type of scaffold needed.
  • Supervise and or lead scaffold crews on small, medium and/ or large size projects.
  • Ability to identify hazards and safety risks and complete a Job Safety Analysis to control and mitigate those hazards.
  • Ensure that crews always have proper PPE, Correct Equipment & Tools
  • Develop and mentor crew members in our Team building effort.
  • Take initiative if a potential hazard arises and mitigates it.
  • Maintain and promote good housekeeping on work areas and sites.
  • Communicate efficiently and respectfully with team members.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
