About the School:

  • Protocol are working closely with a large 4-5 form school located in Camden
  • This is a co-educational school, however this particular role is just as a Female PE teacher
  • The schools last OFSTED inspection was Good.
  • The school has state-of-the-art facilities with fully equipped gymnasium and multiple all-weather games area pitches
  • The school prides itself on effort, consideration for others and respect
  • The school is successful in many different sports, having teams and competing in interschool competitions
  • The schools does have a large percentage of students who are eligible for free school meals and whose first language is not English. Both these are above the national averages. Their students with SEND supports required are comparative to the national averages.
  • The vacancy has occurred as a result of maternity cover and is initially required from January 2022.

About the role:
As a successful Phys Ed Teacher, we aim to:

  • Link you with suitable roles working across Key Stages 3 to 5
  • Work within your parameters
  • Be transparent with you in expectations about availability and details of any assignment
  • Support you with providing opportunities to CPD (such as Safeguarding courses)
  • Maintain contact and making sure that you are supported fully to reach your potential
  • Teaching across KS3, KS4, GCSE, BTEC are required
  • Must be able to teach dance
  • Opportunities exist for teaching staff to participate in career projects as well

About you:
As a successful candidate, you should be able to:

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management techniques. Able to promote behaviour for learning.
  • Show a steady career or study history with ability to supply a minimum of 2 recent references covering the last 3 years. Strong references are necessary for this role.
  • The school is open to NQT’s as well as experienced teachers
  • Ability to teach dance across Key Stages is desirable
  • Willing to contribute to wider community, participating in afterschool projects, clubs and communities as well

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
