Position Description:
The Sector Project Control Officer supports the Sector Vice President and project teams by tracking and producing reports related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Portfolio Dashboard, Financials, Project deliverables, and tracking of risks and issues.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate/ complete monthly & annual forecasting budgeting process with Finance team.
- Create Weekly Sales Meeting reports and facilitate weekly leadership meetings which. includes, Communicating and presenting to team on current progress in achieving KPI’s and work to create actionable plans to meet targets.
- Coordinate and complete annual planning process which includes the development of financial, operational and capital budgets and plans.
- Support PMO and Delivery Teams with deliverables such as status reports, meeting notes, schedules, resource requests, risks and issue tracking documents.
- Responsible for reporting and data tracking of the portfolio of projects.
- Take responsibility for data management and contracts repository.
- Report on internal project resources (people, capital, expenses).
- Assist in design, development and implementation of new and ad hoc reports and templates as required.
- Assist in preparation of presentation materials (reports, charts, graphs) for senior management.
- Take initiative with on-going process improvements/enhancements to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist with special projects as required.
Objectives & Targets:
- Timely and accurately produce all program/project reporting requirements.
- Provide effective support to the Sector Vice-President, Account Leads, and Finance support groups.
- Ensure established OMF processes are adhered to within the programs/projects.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience in an intermediate Project management/financial assistant role is preferred.
- Post-secondary education – Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration or related.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs/projects
Industry.
- Strong organizational skills in order to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
- Project Management practice experience.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
