We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our GTA Technology Team, managing large IT Infrastructure and Technology projects in the region.
A typical week would include:
- Information Technology Infrastructure and Technology systems consulting specifically in conducting and/all of the following:
- Technical IT Infrastructure and Technology systems design
- IT Infrastructure and Technology systems Master planning
- IT Infrastructure and Technology systems Project Management
- IT Infrastructure and Technology systems Contract Administration
- Managing stakeholder engagement and running requirements workshops with clients and stakeholders
- Leading workshops to elicit technical and functional requirements from a broad range of stakeholders, and developing client-focused solutions across a varied mix of technologies.
- Advising clients as a subject matter expert and representing WSP as leaders in the IT and Technology field.
- Developing well-articulated bids/proposals and supporting the broader WSP team to secure new and repeat business across a number of service offerings.
- Developing professional, client-facing documents, including technical specifications and reports, using standard software tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, among others;
- Interpreting and reviewing typical design and construction issue technical drawings developed using CAD and similar tools;
- Leading and participating in technical and project meetings with a varied audience and participant mix, including management/executive, end-user, and technical personnel;
- Instructing and guiding other, less experienced team members, in the development/production of CAD/Revit project deliverables;
- Working individually or collaboratively with the local and Technology Team and other disciplines within the business.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Min 7 years’ experience in a IT infrastructure consultant position
- RCDD designation preferred but not required
- Demonstrable experience managing large IT projects
- Commercial acumen essential
- Must have experience in writing proposals and bids, and understand project finance, contracts and commercials.
- Be accomplished in delivering presentations
- In addition, the consultant must support the ‘win business’ process.
