In your role, you will:

Supervise, coordinate and provide support to a team of 2 analysts and 3 interns.

Guide financial analysts under your responsibility to target opportunities for process improvement.

Participate in the development and revision of:

reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

detailed analyses of income statements

overhead captions

Participate in the annual budget process and the quarterly forecasts

Participate in the annual impairment test process for the G7500

Work closely with our business partners, Parts Services, CR&O and Procurement

Check internal controls, identify risks and opportunities, propose recommendations and verify their implementation.

Prepare and respond to requests for financial controls from internal and external colleagues (E&Y, OSC, CASRA).

Perform in-depth analyzes on request for specific topics.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

You hold an accounting designation (CPA) and have high knowledge of accounting standards.

You have a minimum 5-7 years of experience.

You have capable of demonstrating initiative and independence in carrying out multiple tasks, as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

You are data-driven with strong analytical skills and synthesis capability.

You are rigorous, autonomous and action oriented.

You have a high level of integrity and strong sense of personal ownership and accountability.

You have advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

You have a strong team spirit, leadership and flexibility.

You have the ability to build and maintain a beneficial relationship with your peers, partners and customers.

You have demonstrated strong abilities to work with tight deadlines and under pressure in a complex environment.

You have good spoken and written communication skills in both French and English.
