PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this role is to:

• Implement and support Unit4 ERP and associated products
• Lead Consultant on small and medium-sized projects

• Lead Finance work stream on large and/or complex projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner to the Project Manager
• Manage Customer Expectations and be able to communicate status of issues and impacts with relevant client sponsors and process owners
• Develop solution design documentation and GAP analysis to assist the client transform their business requirements and provide them with a vision of their roadmap to the final solution
• Provide input to project plans for prospective and actual projects
• Monitor progress against plan and communicate to stakeholders
• Identify scope changes and communicate impact using relevant change control processes
• Provide high-level estimates for design and implementation efforts

Delivery

• Provide quality assurance in all aspects of the solution design, build, test and deployment stages of the project
• Deliver valued consultancy services to clients, ensuring objectives are met in accordance with the project management plans
• Provide consultancy as required, providing guidance on both best use of product functionality and good business practices
• Implement and support Unit4 ERP and associated products
• Develop test scripts, communication, and training documentation deliverables
• Help troubleshoot and resolve customer environment problems
• Show commercial awareness in decisions, actions and communications
• Conduct key and end user application training and provide appropriate documentation for follow up when required

• Oversight of application build, test and deployment activities

• Demonstrate system functionality to prospects and clients
• Possess a superior customer service ethic with accompanying communication and management skills
• Identify and communicate Business Development opportunities with new and existing clients

• Identify recommendations for additional services and products within and out the project scope
• Ensure customers are informed of forthcoming updates and new functionality

Knowledge Transfer

• Ensure knowledge is shared and retained throughout the organization
• Maintain and develop knowledge and understanding of Unit4 products.
• Complete training activities and proactively look for training opportunities
• Mentor and help in the development of junior Consultants
• Keep abreast of industry trends and contemporary business practices

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Highly developed business analysis and workshop facilitation skills
• Hold at least one Professional Qualification for example an Accounting Designation (desired)
• Have at least 5 years of Unit4 ERP experience (or equivalent with SAP, Oracle, Workday or other complex ERP system)
• Tertiary qualified, preferably in a business, finance or IT related discipline or equivalent experience with 2-5 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience/knowledge of the application of standard Project Management Methodologies (including but not limited to Prince2 and PMBOK)
• Experience in liaising directly with clients and their staff.
• Experience in liaising with other software or solution providers to ensure interface requirements are understood and where necessary documented.
• SQL database skills a plus
• Valid driver’s license (or can obtain one by start date)
• Valid passport (or can obtain one by start date)

TRAVEL

Agilyx project managers and consultants collaborate with our customers and so usually work on site with customers across Canada/US. Travel to Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Asia, United Kingdom or North America may also be required. Travel is considered to be a part of the role. An ability to travel to customer sites with overnight stays is mandatory. Home working is also available when tasks permit.
