The Senior Finance Project Manager reports to the Director Finance Systems and is a key member of the Corporate Finance team enabling change and transformation across Finance business, process and platform initiatives. The person in this role is a partner with Data & Technology Agility in the application of PM best practices, tools and methods, engages with the Leading Direct Infrastructure Investor Manager/Oxford PM community of practice and collaborates with project managers in peer Finance teams.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering successful Corporate Finance program and project outcomes in partnership with Corporate Finance, Finance Systems, Process Excellence and Data & Analytics teams
  • Managing program / project risk through scope, timeline and resources, change management process and timely escalation & resolution of issues
  • Managing program / project spend against budget
  • Being a great partner to stakeholders and external service providers and contractors
  • Reporting to partners on key program / project metrics
  • Engaging with business and technology stakeholders as a trusted PM partner
  • Facilitating effective governance of programs / projects through ongoing engagement and communications with sponsors, steerco’s and other key governance partners
  • Managing quality assurance, time, scope and budget of project team deliverables
  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members and contractors
  • Collaborating with Data & Technology Agility and Leading Direct Infrastructure Investor Manager/Oxford PM community of practice to improve enterprise PM capability and practice, and to contribute to successful enterprise program outcomes

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent experience; CPA designation is an asset
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CSM and/or equivalent certifications
  • 5+ years of related work experience managing different types of project focused on business, process and platform change
  • Experience applying agile and traditional PM methods to a diversity of projects
  • Experience managing a broad range of projects by scope, from small to large & complex
  • Experience in managing Finance specific programs and projects
  • Experience with top tier Financial systems
  • Knowledge of accounting technology, including AI concepts, e.g. RPA, big data, machine learning
  • Proficiency in Financial principles, processes and practices
