Our client, a leading manufacturer and marketer of bakery products, located in North York, is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring their strategic mindset and hands-on experience as a senior marketing generalist to develop and execute all aspects of marketing strategy including marketing project management, events, brand, digital and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the VP Marketing to develop marketing strategies for project launches and corporate brand initiatives
- Bring a dynamic mix of Marketing functions executing innovative, disruptive, and breakthrough brand marketing plans for our B2B customers and their consumers.
- Drive strategic development of their products and categories to deliver and realize revenue, profit, and market share targets focused on their short, mid, and long-term plans.
- Develop the long-term business strategic plan and innovation strategy through research and analysis, leveraging data and insights from diverse sources
- Present your launch ideas to customers
- Manage brand to drive awareness, capture market share, and work with cross-functional teams to implement strategic marketing plans
- Manage marketing campaigns from ideation to execution to reporting
- Cultivate strategic relationships with third party partners to support marketing plans and corporate business goals
- Manage the marketing budget and schedule, ensuring high quality campaigns are successfully deployed within set time frames.
- Manage tactics for all projects ensuring deadlines are met.
- Generate and develop reports to evaluate ROI of marketing plans to ensure long-term growth and success of the business
- Stay abreast with current industry standards and practices
- As an ambassador for the brand, you’ ll have strong connection to your community, be engaged with all new happenings in the city and attend events
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing or an equivalent field
- 6+ years of marketing experience, real estate development or related field is a plus
- A comprehensive knowledge of the foundations of multi-channel marketing
- Exceptional project management and event coordination skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, to write copy for advertisements, social media and blog articles and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience developing brand strategies with proven market share growth to deliver data-driven results
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, social media channels, website analytics, SEO, and consumer behavior
- Excellent experience developing content, schedules, and community engagement
- Proven experience developing full-scope marketing plans to drive project launches and tempo strategies
- Be comfortable with public speaking as you will be presenting your marketing launch plan to customers and clients
