Senior Cybersecurity Specialist, Governance & Assurance

The Loblaw Technology Cyber Security practice continues to grow and we are actively seeking to hire a Cyber professional who will lead the development and ongoing maintenance of Loblaw Cybersecurity Policies and Standards. The successful candidate can look forward to being a key contributor in assisting Loblaw navigate a rapidly modernizing technology landscape, while continually developing and honing high-demand Cybersecurity skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain Loblaw Security Policies & Standards in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with I.T. application/system/service owners to align on rationale, achievable security requirements
  • Stay abreast of and advise on current and emerging cyber security threats, related compliance/regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Work with various multi-functional departments to foster a culture of security maturity enhancements, awareness and secure practices
  • Relationship management by maintaining strong and effective working relationships with IT Infrastructure, Operational Business Units, External/Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, Privacy and Legal departments

What you Bring:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas in a concise manner while tailoring your messaging for varying audiences
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, best practices, frameworks and benchmarks (e.g. ISF, PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27000 series, NIST, CIS)
  • Excellent project coordination, time management skills and ability to deliver to strict deadlines.
  • Energy and passion for Policies and Standards, with an aptitude to evolve and mature the program, taking it to the next level.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence diverse stakeholders and teams from business leaders to individual contributors, and drive outcomes with urgency, accountability, and ownership
  • Nice to have: You have or in process of obtaining at least one of the following industry security certifications: CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, CSSLP, CISA
