Job description: Encorr Sheets LLC is a Newly Built Corrugated Sheet Feeder Paper Plant located in Ontario, California. We are one of the two 132” BHS Corrugator in the United States. Our State of the art facility with automated equipment with the latest technology puts us in an advantage over our competitors. Since we began our 1st production in March 2017, we have grown significantly and we will continue to grow in all aspects of our business.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sheet Line Operator’s primary role is to handle the finished product. This position is responsible to inspect, measure, and prepare for shipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
1. Prep Units with dunnage, according to customer specifications so that the units will not be damaged by banding.
2. Must be able to read the dry end schedule.
3. Make sure all products being produced is of acceptable quality standards with a goal of 100% perfection. Check, monitor and enforce all quality standards including proper unitization and tagging procedures.
4. Operate all Sheet line controls.
5. Make sure machine and work areas are clean. Before the start of the shift inspect sheet line area for cleanliness and proper stocking and report findings to the current control room operator. Must also make sure areas are clean and properly supplied at shift changeover to ensure the success of the oncoming shift.
6. Keep the dunnage area clean, neat and stocked.
7. Respond to the bander when there are issues.
8. Make sure quality checks are being properly performed through the shift.
9. Work with Shipping to correct all issues in the rework area in a timely manner and ensure that no rework issues carry over into the following shift.
10. Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including maintaining good housekeeping, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned.
11. Inform Control Room Operator of Overrun, Underrun or scrapped sheets/units.
12. When the machine stops because of a Dry End issue, should make sure that the line is clear so that the machine can start up after issue has been corrected.
13. Provide On the Job Training as needed for new employees.
14. The Dry End will always work as a team. Operators are expected to help each other out when issues arise.
15. Regular and predictable attendance; Attendance must be exemplary at all times. Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours.
16. Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- GED or high school diploma.
- Corrugated experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)
- Good communication skills.
- Basic math skills and must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must have computer skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Constant standing, talking, hearing, walking; frequent stooping and bending, twisting, turning, maintaining balance; occasional kneeling and reaching over the shoulder; also required simple grasping, pushing and pulling; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception and peripheral vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
