PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Responsible for evaluating and configuring manufacturing processes, design specifications, workflows, and other information to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Cross-functional cooperation and coordination with design engineering teams, manufacturing teams, production operation teams and supply chain resources.

2.Responsible for NPI, especially in participating in the “Design for Manufacturing” process by working with the manufacturing and design teams to make sure the products conform manufacturing standards.

3.Monitor production data and yield status to detect manufacturing related issues, and then work with team to clarify and resolve them.

4.Seek and propose opportunities for improvement of productivity and capacity.

5.Create and manage process documentation and operating instructions.

6.Execute component evaluation, acceptance and qualification test plans.

7.Assist in analysing failure and identifying root cause, including QA detected cases and filed return.

SCOPE:

To plan, support, or lead tasks on existing and new product projects

-Provide technical input on new project scope

-Support development of new manufacturing technologies, equipment/fixture and methods

-Improve existing manufacturing processes and capabilities

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED:

BS degree or equivalent in a technical field (IE, EE, ME, Materials Science, etc.)

WORK EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

1.5+ years in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.

2.Experience in development, implementation and maintenance of quality ISO systems and processes.

PREFERRED:

1.Knowledge and experience in Process automation

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:

1.Analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

2.Teamwork and interpersonal communication skills

3.Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff

4.Good verbal and written communication skills in English

PREFERRED:

1.Project management experience

2.Use relevant drawing software capability
