Role Summary:

• Reporting to the AVP, Support and Problem Resolution in BPS, the Program Manager will lead the execution of Technology Renewals and other Corporate initiatives in the business areas, represented by BPS. This role will develop and maintain strong partnerships to facilitate collaboration with business and IT partners, as well as peers in Canada and India.

Competencies:

• Management of multiple complex initiatives, running in parallel.
• Experience leading the adoption of Technology Renewals in the business.
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute on work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Understanding of best practices, tools and methodologies for effective communication, collaboration, conflict resolution and reaching consensus.
• Strong relationship management skills and ability to foster internal relationships with leaders across Canadian Operations as well as Functional or Business Leaders across SLF
• Demonstrated ability to make recommendations to management and influence business decisions based on thorough analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in effectively working with IT teams on Information Technology projects

Must haves:

• 5+ years of program management experience managing of multiple complex initiatives, running in parallel.within banking/financial services
• Program management of technology renewal projects
• Negotiation skills, presentation and reporting to senior executives, leadership, working with offshore project managers
