On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is looking for General Labourers to package food in a refrigerated environment at their WATERLOO facility.
This is a permanent FULL-TIME position that will lead to great workplace benefits and profit sharing!
Shift: Days or Afternoons Available
Monday – Friday – 7:00AM-3:00PM – $18.00/hr
or
Monday – Friday – 3:00PM-11:00PM – $18.50/hr
+ 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food production/packaging products
- Line & Assembly Work
- Medium to Heavy Lifting
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Participate in other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- CSA Approved Footwear
- Comfortable handling frozen and raw meats (chicken, beef, pork and fish)
- Comfortable working in a colder environment (-11 °C)
- No jewelry, fake nails, false eyelashes or non-removable piercings may be worn in the facility.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
