Position Overview We are seeking exceptional university students and recent graduates who want to build their professional skills while gaining experience with a global brand. Apply to be considered for our paid internship program. Applicants must be available to work up to 40 hours per week June 7, 2021 – August 13, 2021. The Tiffany Intern Learning Experience This 10-week internship program will create a learning experience that will be a strong foundation for a future career. Students will have the chance to showcase their potential while applying their knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to the workplace at Tiffany. Throughout the program, Tiffany will provide on-the-job training as well as educational and networking opportunities for the interns. Each intern will assist their designated department with day-to-day responsibilities and special projects. Additionally, each intern will participate in a capstone project to demonstrate their learning experience and contributions to the organization. Application deadline: March 30, 2021. Candidates will be interviewed and selected on a rolling basis. This posting may be removed prior to the March 31, 2021 application deadline in the event a final candidate is selected. Responsibilities Responsibilities: • Study supply chain processes for additive manufacturing process through classic work measurement assessments (i.e. Time Studies, flow charting, and Standard Operating Procedures). • Report complete information for processes and functions studied by means of comprehensive data collection, documentation, and presentation. • Develop analytical & statistical tools, process flow documentation, reports, and related items to aid this effort. • Recommend workflow, equipment, or other changes based on analysis to improve material flow, storage & processing capacity, cycle time, and productivity. • Provide direct support to staff in daily analytical activities & projects through hands on participation in an office. • Collaborate in a small setting and R&D environment. These include root cause/failure analysis, turn time, productivity, layout, and equipment improvements, etc. • Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern period. • All other duties or projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy or related field. • Technical leadership in project management and product development. • Hands-on lab experience. • Fluent with Microsoft Office applications. • Proficient in English (both written and oral). • Strong communication skills. • Able to read technical drawings and analyze complex problems. • Metallography knowledge (mounting, polishing and imaging). • 3D printing/CAD knowledge, a plus. • Please note the position location is 1 North Ave, Suite B2, Burlington, Massachusetts 01803. #LI-AG1
