About This Opportunity
The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers and the effective distribution of Coca-Cola product to our customers. Please note that this will be an afternoon shift, primarily from 11 AM to 7PM.
Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of 20 distribution employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
- Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
- Manages drivers’ delivery schedule and hours worked
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
- Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communnication between functions
- Manage and audit team member’s timekeeping
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget
Qualifications
- Post secondary education in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
- Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred.
- 1+ years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
- 2+ years experience of supervisory experience required
- Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evalutations
- Ability to provide leadership, motiviation, and training for development of the distribution team
- Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
- Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervison
- Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
- Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
- Be familiar with department of transportation regulations
- Be a leader, a good communicator, and a convener

- Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
