An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Mathematics Department to provide teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students across all the Mathematics programmes at Aston in a blended (online and in-person) setting on a fixed-term basis.

You will work under the direction of the modules’ owners and deliver taught sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics students on Aston University’s Campus in Birmingham and on our virtual learning environment (synchronous and asynchronous delivery) using existing teaching materials which you will need to adapt to your own teaching style and to the needs of students. You will work closely with the Programme Directors and Module Leaders within the Department to deliver new and innovative teaching sessions as the Department moves towards a new, blended method of delivering material to its students. You will also assist with developing assessment materials, conducting assessments, and providing timely feedback to students on their progress and attainment.
