YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a resource person within the planning team, supervise its members and oversee the team’s development with a view to continuous improvement
  • Ensure that the team achieves the goals set by the department and monitor performance indicators
  • Work with the planner to develop recovery plans for suppliers who fail to meet our delivery objectives, and monitor implementation of these plans
  • Develop and employ forward-thinking strategies to reduce costs and inventory and improve processes
  • Promote our philosophy among our customers and suppliers (internal and external) to ensure compliance with our orientations and strategies

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration or any other related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in supply management and any other relevant personnel management experience
  • Mandatory bilingualism, spoken and written
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement tools; team player with excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Versatility, independence, strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel
