We are currently seeking an Azure Cloud Administrator for our Ottawa, ON Canada location

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
Azure Cloud Administrator will be responsible for design and implementation of cloud based solutions for internal and external customers

Support design and implementation of security measures for protection of Cloud Infrastructure and applications deployed in Azure cloud.
Work closely with architecture team to recommend, design and implement security controls related to Azure AD, Azure Security, Defender for cloud, Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Disaster Recovery, Microsoft Intune, MIM or other azure native security solutions that effectively reflect our client’s business needs, security, and service level requirements
Designing, deployment and management of Network components like VNETs, NSGs, Firewalls, Web Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, API Gateway
Designing, deployment and management of User-defined routes (UDRs) and network virtual appliances (NVAs) to support cloud network topologies like Traditional, Hub-Spoke, Hub to Hub
Responsible for technical incident management and resolving technical issues, serve as technical escalation point within the team and participate in case triage meetings.
Maintain various production and development environments hosted in Azure for our customers.
Participate in all aspects of the deployment life cycle for Azure solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance and produce associated artefacts.
Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix, and implement preventive measures
Perform configuration updates and enhancements per vendor recommendations for cloud services configured.
Configure auditing, monitoring, and alerting for solutions/services deployed in azure cloud.
Automation of deployment process or any other repeatable tasks.

Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance

2+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure solutions implementation and support and 2+ years with Azure
Hands-on experience to install, configure, test, and deploy enterprise and multi-cloud network infrastructure
Scripting and coding skills – PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Azure DevOps, Git, Azure Automation
Experience with networking and security concepts, methods and technologies in large scale, production Azure and hybrid environments
Experience with Azure Active Directory Active Directory and group policy.
Experience with log collection tools and analysis, as well as infrastructure performance monitoring tools and optimization practices
Excellent communication and relationship skills, ability to articulate technical specifications to both technical and non-technical staff
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise software products and services
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant Experience.
Proficiency in English and French preferred.

Preferred to have atleast one of the below Azure Certifications:

AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
AZ-305 – Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
AZ-700: Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions

Security Clearance:

Security Clearance (Enhanced Reliability Status) from Government of Canada or the candidate should be a resident of Canada for 5 continuous years
