Technology Architecture Governance Analyst – Job Description

• The Technical Architecture Governance analyst is responsible for leading and managing Technical Architecture Governance Processes
• The Governance Analyst will assist in providing a vision, inspiration and motivation to the functional teams that deliver excellent service, solutions, support and training to Technical Architecture staff
• You will ensure that IFC related governance processes and services conform to best-in-class frameworks. The TA Governance Analyst will support the Technical Architecture Management in the development and implementation of a comprehensive vision and strategy within IFC
• The successful candidate will promote an environment of collaboration and teamwork, both within the IT organization and with the business
• Under your guidance, the IT organization will be recognized as a strong contributor to the success of IFC in the marketplace
• Define, improve, document and communicate Technical Architecture Governance Processes
• Constantly improve how Architecture is governed
• Develop training on the governance processes and educate the team of proper use
• Report on governance processes to IT Management
• Manage and maintain Architecture Management tool including
• Administration
• Planning, development and implementation for enhancements of the tool
• Develop training

Technology Architecture Governance Analyst – Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years experience
• Bilingual English/French
• Strong background in Process Management
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a strong group of peers through excellent communications and leadership skills.
• A high achiever, self motivated individual
• Experience with Technical Architecture Processes
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture practices
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and influence
• Strong process skills, ability to define, document and implement processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate in simple language any complex technological and conceptual matters relating to EA Governance to Executives, Senior Management, and to those requiring consulting services, targeting communication to the specific audience.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong teamwork, co-operation and inter-personal skills
• Experience with EA frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman’s and Leading Practice
• Experience with modeling languages like ArchiMate and UML
• Experience with Architecture Management tools (such as iServer from Orbus Software)
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence
