Title: Territory Finance Manager – Agriculture & Turf – 72707

Your Responsibilities
As a Territory Finance Manager, you are responsible for obtaining ongoing commitment of dealers to maximize the use of John Deere Financial products to increase retail sales of goods and value-added services, parts, attachments and agribusiness sales in an assigned territory. This is a field position with a preferred location in the Saskatoon area.
In addition, you will:
- Utilize effective selling, negotiating, communication and relationship management skills with equipment company personnel, dealers and customers (channel partners) to maintain or increase the capture rate of their retail and lease business with John Deere Financial (“JDF”) products
- Assist the equipment division and dealers in growing John Deere market share and reaching a level of sustained profitability
- Conduct key customer visits throughout the territory to better understand their finance needs, compile financial information and structure finance options to best suit their operation
- Serve as liaison between JDF and the dealer channel/customer in resolving issues that arise
- Actively participate and provide insight and solutions to the dealer business planning process
- Deliver meaningful training to channel partners, company employees and customers to improve product knowledge and selling effectiveness
- Support parts and service sales utilizing JDF programs
- Participate periodically in projects that support the business and/or dealer
What Skills You Need
- Knowledge of dealers, finance programs and products
- Knowledge of the Agriculture & Turf industry (markets, products, competitors, customers, distribution trends)
- Strong financial acumen and ability to apply this knowledge to provide credit solutions and structures
- Understanding of credit products or services and policies
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint), plus intranet and internet functions
- Ability to travel approximately 50% including overnight stays within Canada or the US as required
- Valid Driver’s License

- Field experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer/distribution network, geographic area of responsibility, and broad product knowledge
Education (or Equivalent Work Experience)
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- University Degree in business, finance or a related discipline
