Job title: Territory Sales Manager
Job description: Our client is a leading manufacturer of quality residential, commercial and industrial building materials worldwide. With over 10,000 employees and operations in 40 countries around the world they have established themselves as one of the leaders in the sector.
This role is based in Montreal. In this role you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of accounts and generating new selling opportunities.
A Day in the Life:
You will be connecting with and prospecting roofers, architects, designers and builders to introduce the brand and design capabilities. Throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to attend trade shows, networking events, host lunch and learns and develop presentations for the team. Approximately 90% of your time will be dedicated to residential projects while 10% will be dedicated to commercial opportunities.
- Manage a full 360 sales cycle
- Build upon existing relationships to maximize account revenue
- Provide clients/customers with prompt responses including quotes and follow up.
- Communicate with customers regarding purchase order details, delivery dates, logistics and troubleshoot any issues.
- Liaise with the Manufacturing Department to coordinate delivery dates and confirm with the customer (client)
Requirements:
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast – paced environment
- Experience working for a manufacturer is seen as an asset (not required)
- Demonstrate a high level of detail and accuracy while working under specific deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Strong computer skills – Outlook / Excel / PowerPoint
- Provide top of the line customer service
- Proficient working in a CRM system is viewed as an asset
