Job Purpose:
The VP or Operations, Finance and Administration will take ownership for the entirety of TCI. They will play a strategic leadership role while also ensuring the company’s everyday organizational activities run smoothly and effectively.
Core Job Duties:
- Provide daily leadership to the Topcon Canada operation, finance and administration departments
- Identify, define and improve company processes and procedures to drive efficiency, quality and safety
- Development and ownership of cost control reports, cost estimates and manpower and facilities requirement forecasts
- Define staffing, resource and training requirements for the organization
- Partner with sales, marketing and customer support teams to ensure on-time organizational support
- Manage inventory levels within the organization facilities and be able to effectively communicate issues regarding low stock, out of stock, etc. to the appropriate teams.
- Defines and recommends objectives in each area of operations, developing specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- 10-20 years of management experience with at least 5 years within an cross-functional environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Passion for continuous improvement
- Proven track record of leadership success
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to take initiative
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
