Reporting to the director of operations at the Iberville and Edmonton plant. As a logistics manager, you will be responsible for ensuring customer service, for the proper functioning of the coordination and deliveries of cable tray orders, and for the management of the inventories of raw materials.
Your responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and control the management of the activities related to the coordination of customer service, transportation logistics, and inventories.
- Put into place initiatives to optimize and upgrade the business processes of the various functions of the department.
- Ensure the integrity of good practices – ISO 9001 quality standard.
- Promote the development of department resources.
- Maintain and promote the participatory mode among employees.
Your background
- University education in management or related disciplines.
- Experience in personnel management.
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing.
- Knowledge in health, safety and environment.
- Customer minded.
- Result oriented.
- Leadership know-how
- Communication skills (spoken and written in French and English)
